Investigation Ongoing in Cumberland Homicide Case
Cumberland police are actively investigating the homicide of Todd Ellsworth Adams, found dead in a parking garage early Sunday morning
Cumberland, Maryland, Todd Ellsworth Adams, Homicide, Investigation
The police chief, Chuck Ternent, said Todd was 42 and pretty well-known around downtown. He had a prosthetic leg, which made him stand out. They really want to hear from anyone who saw him walking around on Saturday before he was found.
Todd often hung out in the downtown area, especially with folks who were homeless or needed help. His family has been notified and is understandably heartbroken. They’re working with the police to figure out what happened and find some closure.
This marks the second homicide in Cumberland this year. The first was a woman named Celina Smith, who was killed back in June. The police are on it, working with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit.
