Sydney: Millions of Australians are bracing for some pretty wild weather. We’re talking about storms that could whip up winds over 100km/h and dump heavy rain.

According to Sky News Weather’s Alison Osbourne, these squall line storms are rolling in from Gippsland in Victoria and heading towards coastal NSW. Sydney might see the worst of it later in the evening.

Alison mentioned that these storms can be quite nasty, with strong winds and heavy rain expected. Areas south of Orange, including Canberra and Wagga Wagga, are also in the line of fire.

On Tuesday, Queensland experienced hailstones the size of tennis and golf balls, especially in Stanthorpe. More hail could be on the way for central and southern Queensland, and even parts of inland NSW might get hit.

In Sydney, storms are likely to roll in late tonight, with some thundery showers sticking around into tomorrow morning. So, if you’re in the area, keep an eye on the sky!
