Prestwick Man Denies Sexual Assaults on Teenage Girls in Ayr
A 68-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to multiple sexual assault charges in Ayr
Ayr, Prestwick, Scotland, Sexual Assault, Teenage Girls
Apparently, on November 16, 2024, he allegedly grabbed a teenage girl by her clothes, pulled down her top, and exposed her breasts on Prestwick Road. That’s pretty shocking, right? It gets worse, though. He’s also accused of punching her in the head multiple times.
But wait, there’s more. He’s facing similar charges for another girl, where he reportedly did the same thing—grabbing her clothes and exposing her. He’s said to have yanked her hair and punched her too. And there’s a third charge involving another female, where he allegedly punched her repeatedly.
Singh’s lawyer, Quentin Muir, said he pleaded not guilty to all the charges when he first appeared in court on January 7. The court set dates for a trial and other hearings, and he’s been granted bail. But he’s not allowed to contact the girls involved.
A police spokesperson mentioned that he was arrested after the alleged assaults on those two teenage girls around 7:30 PM on that November evening. He’s been released but will have to return to court later. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal, so this isn’t over yet.
