Liverpool: It’s been a wild week for the Premier League, and Liverpool is still sitting pretty at the top. They didn’t even play, but they managed to keep their lead.

The Reds saw their gap shrink to seven points after a crazy 3-3 draw between Newcastle and Manchester City. Liverpool was supposed to play in the Merseyside derby, but Storm Darragh had other plans, causing a postponement.

Meanwhile, City couldn’t capitalize on Liverpool’s downtime, ending up in a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. Brentford, on the other hand, had a fantastic day, smashing Newcastle 4-2.

Things got a bit shaky for Manchester United too, as they lost 3-2 to Nottingham Forest. Not the best day for their coach, Ruben Amorim.

On Sunday, Liverpool’s rivals Arsenal and Chelsea were in action, trying to close the gap. Arsenal faced Fulham but only managed a draw after a last-minute goal was ruled offside. Chelsea, however, pulled off a stunning comeback against Tottenham, winning 4-3 after being down 2-0.

To wrap it all up, West Ham is set to face Wolves, and their manager, Julen Lopetegui, is feeling the heat ahead of this crucial match.
