Aberdeen: Two sisters have gone missing, and the police are really ramping up their search. They were last seen near the River Dee, and it’s a bit concerning.

Special teams, including police dogs and even a marine unit, are on the case. The sisters, who are part of a set of triplets, originally hail from Hungary.

Right now, the River Dee is the main focus. Officers believe the sisters haven’t left the area, which is a small comfort, but still, it’s worrying.

Police Scotland is also in touch with their family back in Hungary, trying to support them during this tough time.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce shared that the family is understandably very anxious. He reassured everyone that they’re doing everything they can to find the sisters.

He emphasized how important it is for anyone who might have seen something to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help.

Businesses around South Esplanade and Menzies Road are being asked to check their CCTV from early Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025, to see if they caught anything useful.

If anyone has dashcam footage from that time, the police would love to hear from them too. They’re really hoping the community can help out.

Anyone with information should call 101 and mention incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025. Every bit of help counts!
