Police Stop Truck Driver for Multiple Offences in Gwent
Gwent Police halted a truck driver for several violations, including missing registration and expired credentials, leading to legal action.

Gwent: So, here’s the scoop. The police in Gwent recently pulled over a truck driver for a bunch of reasons. It all started when they spotted a truck loaded with pallets but, get this, it didn’t even have a number plate!
The Commercial Vehicle Unit jumped into action and stopped the truck. Turns out, the vehicle wasn’t even registered with a vehicle operator license. Can you believe that?
They released a statement saying it all began with that missing number plate. But then they found out the driver wasn’t using a driver card or keeping any records. Yikes!
To top it off, the driver had an expired CPC and there were issues with the truck’s lighting. Not good at all. The driver ended up being prohibited and prosecuted, and they’re referring the case to the Traffic Commissioner.
