Aberdeen: There’s a big search happening right now for two sisters who went missing on Tuesday. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti haven’t been seen since then, and the police are really ramping up their efforts.
This morning, officers were all over the place, checking the River Dee and its banks near the Queen Elizabeth Bridge. They even had a helicopter flying around, trying to spot the sisters.
The 32-year-old sisters were last caught on CCTV in the Market Street area around 2:12 AM on Tuesday. It looks like they crossed Victoria Bridge into Torry and headed towards the river, which is near the Aberdeen Boat Club.
Police are still investigating and have brought in special resources to help with the search. They’ve got boats on the water and divers in the river, plus a heavy police presence along the banks.
Both sisters are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that they’re doing everything they can to find them and are asking local businesses to check their CCTV footage from that early morning.
If anyone has seen Eliza or Henrietta or has any info, they’re urging you to call 101 and reference incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025. It’s a tough time for their family, and any help could make a difference.
