Greater Manchester Police are seeking new leads in the unsolved murder of 14-year-old Lisa Hession, who was killed 40 years ago

She was found in an alleyway, not far from her home, and her family has been left with unanswered questions ever since. Her mom, Christine, reported her missing just after she was due home.
Despite advances in DNA technology, the police haven’t been able to match any samples to a suspect. Christine sadly passed away in 2016 without ever knowing who killed her daughter.
On the anniversary of Lisa’s death, the police are urging anyone who might have seen something that night to come forward. They believe even the smallest detail could help crack this case.
There’s a £50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. The head of the Cold Case Unit, Martin Bottomley, reassured the community that they won’t give up until they find justice for Lisa.
He emphasized that Lisa was a vibrant young girl with a bright future, and it’s heartbreaking that her life was cut short. The case remains open, and the police are committed to following up on any new leads.
