Lincolnshire: So, here’s the scoop. Police are looking for info after a wild buzzard was shot and sadly died from its injuries. It all went down in Grainthorpe earlier this month.

Some good folks at Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue took care of the bird after it was found hurt. They tried their best, but unfortunately, the buzzard didn’t make it.

Now, this isn’t just a sad story; it’s a crime. Shooting or hurting wild birds is against the law under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. So, the police are on it.

DC Aaron Flint from the Rural Crime Action Team is asking anyone who knows anything about this to reach out. He really wants to hear from you, no matter how small the info might seem.

If you’ve got tips, you can email him directly or contact Crimestoppers anonymously. Every little bit helps them understand what’s happening with wildlife crime in the area.

And just a heads up, the crime reference number for this case is 24*10683 if you need it.
