Lincolnshire: So, here’s the scoop. Police are looking for info after a wild buzzard was shot and sadly died from its injuries. It all went down in Grainthorpe earlier this month.
Some good folks at Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue took care of the bird after it was found hurt. They tried their best, but unfortunately, the buzzard didn’t make it.
Now, this isn’t just a sad story; it’s a crime. Shooting or hurting wild birds is against the law under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. So, the police are on it.
