London: So, here’s the scoop. Police are on the hunt for a guy who allegedly swiped a family’s luggage at Gatwick Airport. They’ve put out his picture, hoping someone might recognize him.
The suitcase was packed with all sorts of valuable stuff—Apple gadgets, laptops, even scuba gear! It went missing while the family was checking in at the South Terminal. Talk about a holiday nightmare!
They described the suspect as a man in his 30s, sporting a beard. He was last seen in a dark blue jacket, blue jeans, and a baseball cap. Pretty distinctive, right?
After the theft, it seems he hopped on a bus to Crawley and tried to use the stolen bank cards nearby. The whole thing went down between 11:35 and 11:50 AM on December 12, right at check-in area A.
Inspector Mark Robinson mentioned how distressing this was for the family, especially since they were gearing up for a holiday during the busy festive season. They’re really hoping someone can help track this guy down.
