Gwent Police found a body in Newport while searching for missing Frank Bayley, 69, who disappeared over a week ago

Newport: A body was found while searching for a missing man. Frank Bayley, 69, had been missing for over a week. Gwent Police discovered the body in water off Corporation Road on February 3 at around 5:10 PM.
The Severn Area Rescue Association helped recover the body. Frank’s family has identified him. Gwent Police confirmed that his death is not suspicious.
A police spokesperson shared that officers were conducting searches for Frank. They found the body in the water and called for assistance. The family was present during the identification process.
