It all went down in the Ballyoran Hill and Garvaghy Road area. People were pretty upset about the whole thing, and it was reported as anti-social behavior.

Local Sinn Féin councillor Paul Duffy mentioned that some cars were hit with stones and eggs. He’s urging anyone who knows these kids to step up and tell them to knock it off before someone gets hurt.

The police got wind of the situation and showed up around 8 PM. They confirmed that a group of young people was indeed throwing eggs at cars, but luckily, no vehicles were actually damaged.

According to a police spokesperson, the teens had already left the scene by the time officers arrived. They’re asking parents to chat with their kids about where they are and who they’re hanging out with, stressing the risks of this kind of behavior.
