Police Respond to Concerns for Man on Coventry Bridge
Authorities were alerted after a man was spotted on a bridge in Coventry, raising safety concerns among passersby.

Officers arrived and shut down Lythalls Lane around 10:20 PM on Wednesday. They were worried about the man’s safety, but he hasn’t been named yet.
Paramedics were also sent to the scene, but by the time they got there, the man had already come down from the bridge. He was taken into custody under the Mental Health Act and was sent to the hospital for evaluation, according to West Midlands Police.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service mentioned they were initially called at 10:54 PM but were later told they weren’t needed as the situation was under control.
