Police books man for abetting wife’s suicide in Maharashtra’s Palghar

Palghar: Police have booked a 42-year-old man for allegedly pushing his wife to take her own life. The woman, a 39-year-old doctor, was found dead in their home.

The couple lived in Vasai, near Mumbai, but the husband worked on a cargo ship and was often away. Recently, the wife confronted him about an alleged affair, which led to ongoing harassment, according to her family.
