Portobello: So, there was this serious incident on Bath Street where an 18-year-old guy got hurt pretty badly. It happened around 6:40 PM on January 10, 2025. Emergency services rushed him to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening, but they’re still serious.

Police are on the case, trying to track down three men they think were involved. Two of them are tall and slim, dressed in dark clothes and black balaclavas, riding dark e-bikes. The third guy is stocky with blonde hair.

Detective Inspector Dougal Begg mentioned that they believe this was a targeted attack. He’s asking anyone who was around at the time to come forward with any info. If you’ve got dash-cam footage or CCTV, they’d love to see it.

If you know anything, you can call Police Scotland at 101 and mention incident number 2687 from January 10. Or, if you want to stay anonymous, just ring Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
