Warrington: So, the police were busy yesterday morning. They executed a bunch of warrants in Warrington and other places. It was all part of a big operation by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit.

They had backup from local forces and hit up spots in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and even north Wales. Quite the sweep, right?

In total, they searched 12 properties in places like St Helens, Skelmersdale, Worsley, Cheadle, and Caernarfon. They didn’t share the exact addresses in Warrington, but they did find around £130,000 in cash and 2kg of cocaine. Yikes!

They arrested 10 men and 2 women on suspicion of drug offenses, including conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs. They were taken in for questioning, so it’s serious business.

DI Kelly Wild from NWROCU mentioned that this all came after a thorough investigation. It took months of hard work to take down these organized crime groups that cause so much trouble in our communities.

She emphasized their commitment to tackling drug-related crime and warned anyone involved that they will be caught and face justice. Drugs really do harm communities, and they’re determined to hold those responsible accountable.
