Mooroobool: So, here’s the scoop. The police in Queensland are on the hunt for a Taser that went missing during a chase. It all happened when an officer was trying to stop some stolen cars.

The officer’s holster broke, and whoops! The Taser just fell out while he was jumping over fences. They’ve searched the area but haven’t found it yet.

Police Chief Superintendent Kevin Fitzgibbon is asking anyone who might see the bright yellow Taser to not touch it. Instead, just call Crime Stoppers or triple-0. He mentioned that it was lost on New Year’s Eve between 5:30 and 7 PM.

They realized it was missing at 7:40 PM, so there’s a two-hour window where it could have dropped. Fitzgibbon reassured everyone that it’s safe as long as it’s not tampered with.

He also pointed out that this is a pretty rare situation. With over 10,000 Tasers in use across Queensland, it’s the first time he’s heard of one going missing like this.

So, if you happen to spot it, just remember: don’t touch it! Call the police instead. They want to get it back without any fuss.
