Police Seek Help from Good Samaritans After Assault in Thetford

Thetford: So, there was this pretty scary incident last week. Police are asking for help from a group of guys who stepped in to help a woman after she got hit with a brick.
It all went down at a casino on King Street around 12:34 AM. A man was acting all aggressive, even throwing a brick that damaged the place. Then, he approached a woman outside and hit her on the head with that same brick. Yikes!
After the attack, the woman ran away, and thankfully, she spotted some men who called for help and made sure she got home safely. She’s in her 20s and ended up at West Suffolk Hospital with a head injury, but she’s been discharged now, which is a relief.
Police arrested a 25-year-old guy named Owen Coppins, who didn’t have a fixed address. He’s facing some serious charges, including GBH with intent and assault. He’s been held in custody and is set to appear in court on February 7.
