Police Seek Help After Attempted Abduction of Young Girl in Wolverhampton
Authorities are urging the public to assist in identifying a man involved in an attempted abduction of a three-year-old girl

Wolverhampton: A scary situation unfolded when a man tried to abduct a three-year-old girl outside her home. It happened on Leicester Street around 5:15 PM on Thursday.
The little girl was outside with a relative when this guy approached. Thankfully, her mom intervened just in time to stop him. The man then took off towards Harrow Street.
Luckily, the child wasn’t hurt, but it’s still a shocking incident for everyone in the area. Police are treating it as isolated, but they’re taking it seriously.
They’ve released a photo of the suspect, who is described as mixed race, in his 20s to 30s, and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He had short curly dark hair and facial hair, with brown eyes that looked a bit red.
Detective Inspector Nicola Pestel is leading the investigation. She understands how alarming this is for the community and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
