Minneapolis: So, after the Warriors beat the Timberwolves, Brandin Podziemski felt he needed to clear things up. He made some comments that got people talking, and he realized he should explain himself a bit more.
Right after the game, he said, “I don’t really think. I just play.” It was during a postgame chat, and he was just being honest about how he approaches the game. But then, he saw how folks reacted and thought, “Okay, maybe I should clarify that.”
Coach Steve Kerr had mentioned how important it is for the younger guys to play alongside Steph Curry. Podziemski took that to heart. He explained that when he’s on the court, he just plays his game. If he’s open, he shoots; if not, he looks for a teammate, especially if it’s Steph.
He didn’t mean to sound like he wasn’t thinking about the game. It was just his way of saying he plays instinctively. After seeing the buzz, he decided to set the record straight. It’s all good now!
