Pitsea Hit-and-Run: Police Provide Update on Ongoing Investigation
Police are investigating a tragic hit-and-run in Pitsea that killed two children

Pitsea: A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening. Two children, 16-year-old Roman and 9-year-old Darcie, were hit by a car around 6:25 PM. Sadly, they died at the scene.
After the crash, the car drove away. Police believe the children were riding a privately owned e-scooter when it happened.
Authorities arrested a man and a woman in their 20s. They are suspected of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. The woman has been released on bail, while the man is under investigation.
Chief Superintendent Leighton Hammett stated that the community wants answers. He assured everyone that the investigation is progressing well and urged people not to speculate online.
