Petition Against Farsley Pub’s Extended Hours as Police Withdraw Concerns
Residents voice worries over extended pub hours, but police back down on objections
Farsley, UK, Number Thirty Three, Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police
The local council is set to decide on this request soon. A bunch of residents from a nearby sheltered housing complex have signed a petition against it. They’re worried about crime, safety, and noise.
Interestingly, the police had some concerns too but have since pulled back their objections after the pub agreed to some safety measures. These include checking IDs and making sure music isn’t too loud after 11 PM.
The council meeting to discuss this is happening on January 14 at 10 AM. If you’re curious, you can check out all the details in the official documents.
