Lewisham: So, there’s this woman, Rachael Middleton, who just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. She was caught swiping booze from a Co-op store, racking up a bill of £195 over three visits. Can you believe that?

She didn’t stop there, though. Rachael also helped herself to some fresh meat during her little shopping sprees. Talk about a bold move!

Last Thursday, at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, she got a 16-week prison sentence, but it’s suspended for a year. So, she won’t be heading to jail just yet.

On top of that, she has to cough up £100 in compensation. The magistrates were pretty fed up with her, noting her “flagrant disregard” for court orders. She’s got a bit of a record, too.

Back in 2019, she did 20 weeks for stealing chocolate from another Co-op in Sidcup. And just earlier this year, she was in trouble for pinching £200 worth of wine from Sainsbury’s. It seems like she just can’t help herself!
