Glasgow: A 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were taken to the hospital after a serious incident. A 76-year-old man was also found hurt.

The police have charged the older man with serious assault. They also arrested a 48-year-old man at the scene, who is suspected of burglary.

The area around Argyle Street is still closed off. Police Scotland said the street remains shut between Bunhouse Road and Sauchiehall Street. This follows a report of injuries from a disturbance at a property on Blantyre Street early on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and both the 49-year-old man and the 48-year-old woman were treated for serious injuries. The 76-year-old man is also receiving care for his injuries.

Officers are still in the area, continuing their investigations.
