Pair Cleared of Attacking Two People in Neyland
A man and woman have been found not guilty of assaulting two individuals in Neyland

Neyland: So, here’s the scoop. A man and a woman just got cleared of some serious charges. Jenna Allen and Christopher Lewis were facing trial for an incident that happened back in June 2023.
Lewis, who’s 43, was accused of assaulting a guy and causing him actual bodily harm. Meanwhile, 37-year-old Allen was in hot water for allegedly inflicting grievous bodily harm on a woman.
Both of them had pleaded not guilty, and they were all set for a trial in March. But then, things took a turn. The case popped back up in court recently, and guess what? The complainants decided to withdraw their support.
The prosecutor, Ashanti-Jade Walton, mentioned that after reviewing the case, it just didn’t seem right to keep going with it. So, they dropped the charges against both Jenna and Christopher.
Judge Geraint Walters stepped in and officially declared them not guilty, which means they’re free to go. Pretty wild, right?
