Green Bay: The Packers are facing a tough blow. Christian Watson, their wide receiver, is out for the season after tearing his ACL in Week 18. Coach Matt LaFleur broke the news on Monday, and it’s not looking good.

Watson got hurt during a close game against the Bears, which ended in a 24-22 loss. It was a non-contact injury, and you could tell it was serious when several Bears players called for the trainer.

He was carted off the field and ruled out by halftime. NFL insider Ian Rapoport mentioned that Watson might have suffered even more damage, putting his chances of starting next season at risk.

This isn’t the first time Watson has faced injury issues. Last season, he missed eight games due to a hamstring problem but did manage to return for the playoffs.

Adding to the drama, quarterback Jordan Love also got hurt in the same game, injuring his elbow. He was replaced by Malik Willis but did warm up on the sidelines later.

Next up, the Packers are set to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC wild-card game. Love mentioned he didn’t feel 100% but is hopeful about his status for the upcoming game.
