Sully: So, picture this. A guy leaves his car running on the driveway to defrost, right? It was around 7:30 AM on a chilly January morning. But when he comes back, poof! The car is gone.
It happened on South Road, and the police are saying it was an easy target for a thief. I mean, who leaves their keys in the ignition while the car is running? Apparently, this guy did, and someone took advantage of it.
The police are warning everyone to be careful. They said, “Opportunist thieves are always on the lookout.” They really want folks to think twice before leaving their cars unattended like that.
After the theft, the car was seen heading towards Barry. The police are asking anyone who might have seen something suspicious or has any footage to reach out. They want to catch this thief!
