Norfolk: A man named Brad Spafford was arrested after the FBI found over 150 homemade bombs on his farm. This all started when a neighbor got worried and tipped off the authorities.

Spafford, 36, had a pretty wild background. He lost three fingers in an explosive accident back in 2021. The neighbor, who used to be a cop, saw him with a short-barrel rifle and heard him talk about making ammo daily.

Things got even creepier when Spafford mentioned he was preparing for something big. He even had a No Lives Matter patch on his backpack and used photos of President Biden for target practice. Yikes!

When the FBI searched his property, they found a jar of a dangerous explosive in his freezer, right next to some Hot Pockets. Talk about a shocking discovery!

They also found a notebook with bomb recipes and a stash of more than 150 improvised explosive devices. Some were even labeled “lethal.” It’s like something out of a movie.

In court, prosecutors called him an “anti-government extremist” and said he posed a danger to the community. His lawyer argued that there was no solid proof he had threatened anyone directly.

Spafford’s bond was set at $25,000, and he’s now under electronic monitoring at his mom’s place. It’s still unclear if more charges will come his way for those homemade explosives.
