Ann Arbor: So, the 2024 Lucid Air Pure is turning heads, and for good reason. This car isn’t just about the numbers, like its 430 horsepower or the impressive 419-mile range. It’s about the whole experience. It’s luxurious, and it feels like a treat every time you get behind the wheel.

Inside, it’s all about comfort. The cabin is quiet and feels high-end, even at a starting price of $81,350. You can save a bit by skipping some extras, but honestly, the curb appeal is hard to resist. Plus, the tech is pretty cool. The surround-view camera system is a game changer, and the sound system? Wow! It’s got 21 speakers and uses Dolby Atmos, which makes everything sound amazing.

Our editors are loving it. The powertrain might not be the flashiest, but it’s got enough oomph to impress. Sure, there are a few quirks, like the seatbelt chime that goes off as soon as you hop in, but overall, it’s been smooth sailing. The faux leather seats are surprisingly nice, too.

We’ve had the car for a few months now, and it’s been a learning curve with all the modern features. Using a smartphone as a key is neat, but it can be a bit nerve-wracking if your phone dies. And getting to the nearest service center in Michigan is something we’ll have to plan for, but it’s not a huge deal.

Even after a few months, the Lucid Air continues to impress. It’s quiet, smooth, and just feels right. We haven’t taken it on any epic road trips yet, but with access to the Tesla Supercharger network coming soon, we’re excited for what’s next. Just a heads up, though: the charging infrastructure can be a bit tricky sometimes.
