Belfast: So, there was this pretty serious accident on the Ormeau Road. A woman in her 60s got hit by a motorbike around 5:15 PM on Thursday. It happened near St Jude’s Church, and it sounds really bad.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and she was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for treatment. The police confirmed that her injuries are serious, which is really concerning.

Sergeant Rooney mentioned that they’re looking into it and asked anyone with info or dash-cam footage to reach out. It’s been a rough week for pedestrians in Northern Ireland, with a few incidents reported lately.

Just a few days ago, a 77-year-old woman tragically lost her life after being hit by a car in Newtownabbey. Another pedestrian was also hospitalized after a separate incident in Londonderry. It’s a tough time for everyone involved.
