Manchester: So, there was this big event planned for One Direction fans. They were all set to watch the charity concert film “This Is Us” at the Odeon in Manchester. But then, bam! It got canceled at the last minute.
Picture this: the theater was packed with excited fans, mostly young girls, all ready with their popcorn and drinks. They were just waiting for the movie to start when an announcement came through. Talk about a buzzkill!
One fan, Marcus, even took some photos of the emptying auditorium. He said everyone was super disappointed. They were told they could get refunds, but that didn’t really make up for the letdown.
The screening was supposed to honor their late band member, Liam Payne, and all the ticket sales were going to mental health charities. It was a great cause, but the timing was just awful.
Marcus shared how everyone was so ready to enjoy the film, and then, just like that, it was over. Odeon promised full refunds, even for snacks, but still, it left a sour taste for the fans.
It’s a shame that such a special event turned into a disappointment. Fans were really looking forward to it, and now they’re left feeling let down. Odeon has been contacted for more info, but we’ll see what they say.
