Ombersley Dog Walker Left Shaken After Disturbing Experience in Village
A female dog walker in Ombersley reported feeling scared after hearing strange noises during her walk

It was around 4 PM on a Monday when she started hearing some odd noises, like branches snapping. Then, she thought she heard someone whistling at her, but when she looked around, no one was there.
To make matters weirder, she noticed metal cans banging together, almost like they were mimicking her movements. Every time she turned around, the noise would stop. Talk about creepy, right?
The walker felt like someone was watching her from the woods. When she stopped, the tapping stopped too. But as soon as she started walking again, it would start up again.
Feeling uneasy, she decided to call someone, and just like that, the tapping stopped completely. The local council got wind of her experience and issued a warning to others.
They advised female walkers to stay safe and avoid going out alone while this situation is being looked into. If anyone else has had a similar experience, they’re encouraged to report it to the West Mercia Police.
The police confirmed they were aware of the incident and have reached out to the woman to offer support. They even provided her with a personal alarm for extra safety.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team will keep an eye on that area during their patrols. It’s always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to your safety while out and about.
