Oldham: A 19-year-old guy got arrested after a man was hurt in a drive-by shooting. It all went down when the victim was getting out of a taxi.
According to the police, the shooting happened around 12:15 GMT on Shaw Road. A person on a motorcycle fired shots and then took off. Pretty wild, right?
Police quickly showed up in the area to gather evidence and keep things safe. They set up cordons at several spots, including busy junctions.
Superintendent Phil Hutchinson mentioned they’re looking into multiple leads to figure out what happened. He wants to reassure the community that they’re on it.
He also said it’s shocking to hear about gun incidents, especially when someone gets hurt. Officers are talking to locals and want anyone with info to come forward.
