Rensselaer: An Ohio guy found himself in a bit of a pickle after trying to drive his car off a tow truck to dodge the cops. The Indiana State Police were on it right away.
It all started when a trooper showed up to a minor crash on Interstate-654. The driver, Carlos Sept, was already wanted back in Ohio for a probation violation. When the officer tried to grab him, he bolted across the highway, almost causing a few accidents in the rain.
After a wild chase, Sept ran into a nearby field. But he didn’t stop there; he made another go for it by trying to drive off the tow truck. Talk about desperate!
Eventually, he gave up and was taken into custody. The police brought in a K9, which sniffed out some marijuana and what they think is heroin.
Now, Sept is sitting in the Jasper County Jail facing a bunch of charges, including possession of a controlled substance and resisting law enforcement. Not the best way to spend your weekend!
