Columbus: Last week, gas prices in Ohio took a dip, landing at an average of $2.91 per gallon for regular fuel. That’s a nice drop from the previous week’s $3.06, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Over the past month, prices have dropped about 15 cents. If we look back a year, prices have ranged quite a bit, hitting a low of $2.61 back in January and peaking at $3.65 in April.
To put it in perspective, a year ago, Ohioans were paying about $2.77 on average, which is 5% lower than now.
