Nursery with Over 100 Years of Combined Experience Opens in Lenzie

Busy Bees Lenzie opens its doors with 90 spots for kids aged three months to five years, offering quality childcare and community support.

Lenzie: Busy Bees Lenzie opened on Stoneyetts Drive in Woodilee Village. Maree Todd, Scotland’s Minister for Social Care, cut the ribbon on January 30.

The nursery has 90 places for children from three months to five years. It features a large kitchen with NHS-accredited menus and flexible learning areas.

Nicole Smith, the centre director, expressed pride in the opening. She has been with Busy Bees for ten years and sees this as a personal highlight.

Ms. Todd congratulated Busy Bees, emphasizing the importance of high-quality childcare. She believes it helps children’s development and supports parents in their work and studies.

The nursery has created over 25 jobs for educators and staff, plus more than 30 jobs for local suppliers during its construction.
