London: A 59-year-old gangster named John Cobbina is back in prison. He was caught breaching a court order meant to keep him from dealing drugs.

Cobbina, from Highbury, has a long history of crime. He was previously jailed for money laundering and drug offenses. This time, he got a year and three months behind bars.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) said Cobbina didn’t follow the rules. He failed to declare he owned a mobile phone and didn’t tell them when he moved. That’s a big no-no.

He was already in trouble for breaking similar orders before. Cobbina was part of a drug network that operated out of a tyre shop in Brixton. He was sentenced to 12 years for his role in that operation.

Recently, he was sentenced again at Inner London Crown Court. They also imposed a new Serious Crime Prevention Order, his fourth. This one restricts his access to phones, bank accounts, and vehicles.

The NCA is keeping a close eye on him. They’re serious about monitoring offenders like Cobbina. Alison Abbott from the NCA said they will act on any breaches.

She emphasized that these orders are crucial for community safety. They want to prevent criminals from slipping back into their old ways.
