Aberdeen: It’s been a tough week for the families of Eliza and Henrietta Huszti. The sisters have been missing for over a week now, and police say there’s no evidence of criminal activity.

They were last spotted on CCTV around 2:12 AM on January 7, crossing a bridge and heading towards the River Dee. The police are keeping an open mind about what might have happened but are focusing their search efforts on the river and nearby areas.

Superintendent David Howieson mentioned that the sisters’ behavior that night was unusual. They left their home and walked directly to the area where they were last seen, which raises questions. One theory is that they may have accidentally entered the water, but there’s no proof of that yet.

The police have been thorough in their search, using helicopters, dogs, and divers to comb through the river and harbor. They’re also reviewing CCTV footage and talking to people in the area to gather more information.

Interestingly, it seems the sisters were planning to move out of their flat, which has added to the concern about their disappearance. Their family is understandably worried and has asked anyone with information to come forward.

If you know anything that could help, please reach out to Police Scotland. The family just wants their loved ones back safe and sound.
