London: Nick Clegg, the former deputy prime minister of the UK, is leaving Meta after six years. He shared his thoughts on Facebook, calling it an adventure of a lifetime.

Clegg joined Meta back in 2018 when the company was under fire for the Cambridge Analytica scandal. He started as the vice president for global affairs and later became the chief policy officer.

During his time, he helped set up the Facebook Oversight Board, which makes calls on content moderation. Clegg mentioned that his role coincided with a big shift in how tech interacts with society and regulations.

He’s passing the baton to his deputy, Joel Kaplan, who he believes is the perfect fit for the job. It sounds like Clegg is leaving on a high note, proud of what he’s accomplished!
