Detroit: The NFL regular season is coming to a close, and there’s still a lot to figure out. The Lions and Vikings are in a tight race for the NFC North title.
Whoever wins their matchup on Sunday night will snag the division title and the coveted No. 1 seed in the NFC. The loser? They’ll end up as the No. 5 seed.
Most of the playoff picture is pretty much set. The Commanders are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2020 after taking down the Falcons. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are leading the NFC South after a big win against the Panthers, but that division isn’t locked up just yet.
So, as we head into Week 18, let’s take a look at the playoff standings. In the NFC, the Lions are sitting pretty at 14-2, followed closely by the Eagles at 13-3.
In the AFC, the Chiefs are leading the pack at 15-1, with the Bills right behind them at 13-3. It’s all shaping up to be an exciting finish!
Now, about the draft order. The Browns are currently in the top spot after their loss on Saturday, but that could change based on Sunday’s games. The Patriots are in a good position to grab the No. 1 overall pick if they lose to the Bills.
And don’t count out the Titans; if they lose and the Patriots fall, they could snag that top pick too. It’s all up in the air!
Here’s the current draft order: Browns, Patriots, Titans, Giants, Jaguars, Panthers, Jets, Raiders, Bears, Saints, 49ers, Colts, Cowboys, Cardinals, Dolphins, Falcons, Bengals, Seahawks, Texans, Broncos, Buccaneers, Steelers, Rams, Packers, Chargers, Commanders, Ravens, Eagles, Bills, Vikings, Lions, and Chiefs.
