Seattle: The Seahawks had a rough night against the Green Bay Packers, losing 30-13. Things got worse when quarterback Geno Smith went down with a knee injury in the third quarter. He took a hit that looked pretty awkward, and it didn’t look good as he limped off the field.

Smith didn’t come back, and the Seahawks had to rely on Sam Hartman for the rest of the game. Hartman struggled, and now the Seahawks are tied for first in the NFC West with the Rams. If Smith’s injury is serious, they might miss the playoffs, which would be a huge blow.

Meanwhile, the Lions faced their own set of problems. They lost a close game to the Buffalo Bills, ending their impressive 11-game win streak. But the real kicker was the injuries. They lost both cornerbacks, Carlton Davis III and Khalil Dorsey, during the game. Davis is out for six weeks with a jaw injury, and defensive lineman Alim McNeill tore his ACL.

To make matters worse, running back David Montgomery is also out indefinitely with an MCL injury. The Lions are already dealing with injuries to key players on defense, and it’s really taking a toll as they try to secure a top spot in the NFC.

With the regular season winding down, both teams are feeling the heat. The Seahawks and Lions have a lot to figure out if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
