San Francisco: So, Jauan Jennings got kicked out of the game against the Arizona Cardinals, right? It was a bummer because he was just shy of hitting that 1,000-yard mark for the season.

He got tossed after two back-to-back unnecessary roughness penalties in the first half. But guess what? The NFL decided not to fine him at all. Instead, the Cardinals players he got into it with ended up getting fined.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan backed Jennings, saying he didn’t see him throw a punch, which is usually what gets you ejected. The league ended up fining the Cardinals’ Starling Thomas and Sean Murphy-Bunting for their roles in the scuffle.

Jennings had a solid game before getting ejected, with seven catches for 52 yards. He wrapped up the season with 77 receptions and 975 yards. Meanwhile, fullback Kyle Juszczyk was the only other 49ers player fined, racking up a hefty penalty for a helmet hit.

It’s been a wild season, and this just adds to the drama. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
