Manchester: Marks and Spencer is gearing up to open a new outlet store in Warrington. It’s going to be located at Riverside Retail Park, which is pretty close to the town center.
There are already a few M&S Outlet stores around, like the one in Salford. These places are great for snagging discounts on clothes, furniture, and more.
The company has put in plans for some signage at the new spot, which is already home to other stores like B&M and Sports Direct. It’s a busy little retail park!
People are excited about this new outlet. One shopper mentioned, “I usually head to Salford or Cheshire Oaks for the outlet. Having one nearby is fantastic!”
However, not everyone is thrilled. Some folks are worried about traffic, saying it’s already tough to get in and out of that area. “It’s going to get even busier,” one person noted.
M&S has submitted a planning application to the local council for some illuminated signs and a few vinyl ones. They want to make sure the store is easy to spot and looks good.
The plans include two bright signs that say ‘M&S Outlet’ and a non-lit sign at the back. They’re also looking to showcase their latest advertising campaign on some high-level vinyls by the entrance.
Overall, the new M&S Outlet at Riverside Retail Park seems like a great addition to the area, and shoppers are looking forward to it!
