Isle of Mull: New images of Claire Halliday have been shared as her family pleads for her safe return. She’s been missing since January 7, and it’s been a tough time for everyone.

Claire, 35, was last seen in Fionnphort, and her family is really worried since she hasn’t contacted anyone. That’s not like her at all. The police and rescue teams have been searching high and low, but no luck yet.

Her family made a heartfelt statement, saying they just want to know she’s safe. They’re asking anyone with information to reach out to the police. Every little bit helps.

Search efforts have included helicopters and search dogs, covering areas like Loch Poit na h-i. Officers have even gone door-to-door, talking to locals and businesses to gather clues.

They’ve also checked CCTV footage from around the island. Claire is about 5ft 4in, has shoulder-length brown hair, and some distinct tattoos. Last seen, she wore a white jacket and white trousers.

Inspector Matthew Shaw mentioned it’s been eight days since she was last seen, and they’re really concerned. He’s urging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward.

If you know anything, please call Police Scotland at 101 and mention incident number 1999 from January 9, 2025. Let’s help bring Claire home.
