Nets Struggle with Shooting in 113-99 Loss to Pacers
The Nets faced a tough night as they fell to the Pacers, struggling with shooting and losing 113-99 in a frustrating game.

New York: The Brooklyn Nets had a rough night against the Indiana Pacers, losing 113-99. Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 23 points, while his teammate, Bennedict Mathurin, added 20.
Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin also chipped in with 19 and 11 points, respectively. The Pacers are on a roll, winning three in a row and nine out of their last twelve games.
For the Nets, Day’Ron Sharpe was a bright spot with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Martin and Noah Clowney contributed 15 and 14 points, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
Indiana jumped out to a 24-point lead in the third quarter. The Nets made a push with a 12-0 run, narrowing the gap to 78-70. But they fell behind again early in the fourth.
Despite a late effort, Brooklyn couldn’t close the gap. The Pacers responded with a 14-2 run, highlighted by a dunk and a three-pointer from Toppin, pushing their lead to 105-83.
Indiana shot an impressive 53 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range in the first half, while the Nets struggled, scoring their lowest first-half points of the season.
Andrew Nembhard was the only Pacers starter not in double figures, finishing with eight points. The Nets’ previous low was 41 points against San Antonio.
One key moment was Haliburton’s three-pointer during the fourth quarter run, followed by a slick pass to Mathurin for a dunk. The Pacers shot 50.6 percent overall and dominated the free-throw line.
Next up, the Pacers will host the Chicago Bulls, while the Nets will face the Detroit Pistons at home.
