Brooklyn: So, Nic Claxton from the Nets just got hit with a $25,000 fine. This happened after he tossed the game ball into the stands during a match against the Toronto Raptors.

The NBA made the announcement, and it turns out Claxton was also ejected from the game. This all went down in the second quarter while Brooklyn was playing against Toronto.

What led to this? Well, Claxton was fouled by Kelly Olynyk while trying to make a fast break. He was pretty upset about it and ended up throwing the ball into the crowd. Coaches had to step in and hold him back before he was taken to the locker room.

This isn’t the first time Claxton has had issues this season. It was actually his third ejection and fourth technical foul. He’s been struggling a bit this year compared to last season.

He’s in the first year of a big four-year, $97 million deal, but his numbers have dipped. Right now, he’s averaging 9.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game over 21 games.

Last year, he was on fire, starting all 71 games he played and averaging 11.8 points, nearly 10 rebounds, and over 2 blocks. Hopefully, he can turn things around soon!
