Miami: So, the Heat finally got back on track with a 110-95 win over the Nets. Bam Adebayo really stepped up, scoring 17 of his 23 points in the second half. It was just what they needed after losing three in a row.
Nikola Jovic also had a solid game with 18 points, while Tyler Herro contributed 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The Heat are now 7-0 when they keep their opponents under 100 points, which is pretty impressive.
On the other side, Cam Johnson and Noah Clowney each scored 19 points for Brooklyn. Keon Johnson added 15, and Tyrese Martin chipped in with 14. The Nets had a bit of a comeback, closing the first half strong, but they just couldn’t keep up in the second half.
Unfortunately for Miami, they were without star Jimmy Butler again due to a stomach issue. Plus, Dru Smith had to leave early with a leg injury, which didn’t help their cause.
Brooklyn has been struggling lately, with a record of 2-8 since their best three-game win streak earlier this month. They’ve had a tough time, losing by double digits in six of those games.
For Miami, this win was crucial. They avoided a four-game losing streak, which is always a relief. They started the fourth quarter strong, scoring five quick points to extend their lead, and they really took control from there.
Looking ahead, both teams will be back on the court Thursday. The Nets are heading to Milwaukee, while the Heat will face off against Orlando. Should be interesting!
