London: Netflix is back at it with another thriller, and this time, Rosalind Eleazar is stepping into the spotlight. She’s taking on the lead role in a new series called Missing You, which drops on New Year’s Day.

After the massive hit of Fool Me Once, which starred Michelle Keegan and racked up over 100 million views, the pressure is definitely on. Rosalind is set to play Detective Kat Donovan, and it could really be a game-changer for her career.

In a chat with some media outlets, Rosalind opened up about how she felt taking over from Michelle. She mentioned that she actually got the role before Fool Me Once was released, which is pretty wild considering how popular it became.

She said, “When Fool Me Once came out, it was like everyone was watching it. So, of course, there’s a part of you that thinks, ‘Oh man, I hope I can live up to that.’ But honestly, that feeling fades pretty quickly because you just focus on your work.”

Rosalind hopes her show will be just as successful, even though she feels it has a different vibe. “It’s a bit smaller and more intense,” she explained. It’s still a Harlan Coben story, but it’s got its own unique twist.

She also talked about working with a star-studded cast, including Lenny Henry. Instead of feeling intimidated, she found it exciting. “It’s amazing to act alongside such talented people; it makes everything easier,” she said.

Netflix describes Missing You as a limited drama series where Detective Kat Donovan’s life gets turned upside down when her fiancé, who vanished eleven years ago, suddenly shows up. This forces her to dig into her past and confront some deep secrets.

So, if you’re looking for a new mystery to binge, Missing You will be available to stream on Netflix starting January 1!
