London: Exciting news for Squid Game fans! Starting next week, you can snag a cereal inspired by the hit Netflix show. It’s called Honeycomb Crisp, and it’s launching on January 20.
This cereal is a nod to the Dalgona Cookie challenge from the series, where players had to carve out shapes from delicate honeycomb candy. Sounds fun, right?
Before Christmas, it sold out online, but now it’s making its way to Morrisons stores across the UK. Each 425g box will cost you £3.50, and there’s even a chance to win a cash prize of £4,560, which is a cool reference to Player 456 from the show.
The packaging features a red soldier, giving it that unmistakable Squid Game vibe. This cereal is part of BEST Cereal, a brand owned by the YouTube group Sidemen, which includes popular figures like KSI and Miniminter. They’ve also launched restaurants and clothing lines.
Jordan Schwarzenberger, the Sidemen’s manager, shared his excitement about the launch. He said they wanted to capture what fans love about the series and turn it into a fun breakfast option.
Since its debut in 2021, Squid Game has become Netflix’s most-watched show ever. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the second season, which finally dropped on December 26, 2024. Both seasons have received rave reviews and won several awards, including Bingeworthy Show of the Year.
So, if you’re a fan, get ready to enjoy your breakfast with a side of Squid Game!
