GREEN BAY: So, guess what? A bunch of folks from Northeast Wisconsin are heading to D.C. for Donald Trump’s inauguration. It’s a big deal, and they’re super excited!
One of them, Dixon Wolfe from Howard, got picked by Trump’s team to join in on the festivities. He’s even got to buy a tuxedo for the occasion. How cool is that?
Wolfe has been all in for Trump, spending hours campaigning and attending rallies. He believes Trump will be a significant president and can’t wait to see history in the making.
He’s driving down to D.C. with some friends and thinks this will be even more thrilling than the Republican National Convention he attended earlier.
Another attendee is Andrew Brisson, who runs Loadmaster in the Upper Peninsula. His company provided a garbage truck that became famous during Trump’s campaign. Remember that photo op? Yeah, that was his truck!
Brisson plans to bring the truck to the inauguration parade. He’s got one truck in the parade and two more for the inaugural ball. Sounds like a blast!
Congressman Tony Wied is also going to the inauguration. He’s thrilled and has invited family and friends to join him. He believes Trump can be a president for everyone and is feeling a lot of excitement in D.C. right now.
But not everyone is on board with the inauguration. Emily Tseffos, chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Outagamie County, mentioned that many people are feeling anxious about Trump’s presidency. She’s particularly concerned for immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community.
Despite the mixed feelings, she hopes for some bipartisanship and understanding moving forward. It’s definitely a time of strong emotions on both sides.
For those curious about the inauguration schedule, there’s more info available online. It’s shaping up to be quite the event!
